Meeting transcription
Upload the recording of a meeting or call. Endless transcribes it with speakers and timestamps, and the agent writes the notes, decisions and action items.
What is meeting transcription?
Meeting transcription turns a recorded meeting into text with each speaker separated and timestamps. Instead of rewatching an hour of video to find what was agreed, you read the transcript, or better, the notes made from it: what was decided, what is still open and who does what next.
Notes taken during a meeting are uneven. The person writing them misses what is said while they type, and different people remember the same decision differently. Notes written from a full transcript can be checked: each decision and action item points to the moment it was said.
Endless works with recordings you already have. It does not join or record your calls. Record the meeting with the tool you use, such as Zoom or Google Meet, then upload the file. Endless transcribes it with speakers and timestamps and saves it in Transcripts, and the agent writes the notes, decisions and action items in the same chat.
How it works
- 01
Choose the meeting recording
Pick the recording file from your video call tool or a recorder, audio or video. Files can be up to 2 GB.
- 02
Sign in and attach the file again
Create a free Endless account or sign in. Your workspace chat opens with the prompt already written. The file cannot travel from this page to the app, so attach it again in the chat and send.
- 03
Read the notes and action items
The agent saves the transcript in Transcripts, then writes the summary, decisions and action items with owners and timestamps. Ask for changes in the same chat.
What people use it for
- 01
Send notes after the meeting
Get a summary, the decisions and the action items, ready to paste into an email or your team's chat. People who missed the meeting read a page instead of watching the recording, and everyone works from the same record.
- 02
Track who owns what
Ask the agent for every action item with its owner and the timestamp where it was agreed. When someone asks who said they would do something, you can point to the exact moment in the transcript.
- 03
Review client calls
Transcribe recorded client or sales calls and ask the agent for the client's requests, objections and the next steps you promised. Save the notes to the client's project so the whole team can see the history.
- 04
Document interviews and workshops
Long workshops and planning sessions produce many ideas and few written records. Transcribe the recording, get chapters for each topic, and ask the agent to list the ideas, the open questions and what was agreed.
- 05
Answer questions about past meetings
Ask the agent what was said about a topic, such as a deadline or a budget figure, and it answers from the transcript with the timestamp. Search the transcript yourself when you need the exact words.
- 06
Write updates for stakeholders
Turn the meeting into a short status update for people outside the team: what changed, what is blocked and what happens next. The agent writes it from the transcript, in the tone and length you ask for.
