Image to prompt generator

Pick an image and the agent writes it out as a prompt you can reuse. After you sign in, attach the image in your workspace chat; a chat model with vision describes the subject, composition, lighting, style and colors, and you can generate a new image from that prompt in the same chat.

Describe the image I attached, coffee-shop-morning.jpg, as a text prompt I can reuse to generate a similar image. Cover the subject, composition, lighting, style, camera and colors. Ask me if I want the prompt written for a specific image model.

Here is your prompt: "A barista pouring latte art at a wooden counter, early morning sun through a large window on the left, shallow depth of field, 35mm lens at eye level, warm brown and cream tones, soft film grain, candid documentary style."

  • Ask me to change the subject or the colors and I will rewrite the prompt.
  • Say generate and I will make a new image from it with Nano Banana 2.

What is an image to prompt generator?

An image to prompt generator looks at a picture and writes a text description of it in the form an image model expects: what is in the frame, how it is arranged, where the light comes from, what lens or camera it suggests, the style and the main colors. You get words you can edit and paste into a generator, instead of trying to describe a look from memory.

It helps when you like a reference and want more images in the same direction: a product shot whose lighting you want to repeat, a mood board for a campaign, a style you want to keep across a series, or a picture you want to rebuild with your own subject. It is also a quick way to learn which words produce which result.

In Endless, a chat model with vision reads the image you attach and writes the prompt in your workspace chat. Ask it to tailor the prompt to a model such as Nano Banana, FLUX or Seedream, change any part of it, and then generate a new image from it in the same chat. The prompt describes what the model sees; it cannot recover the original prompt behind an AI image.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick the image

Drop or choose the image you want described in the box above. A photo, an illustration, a render or a screenshot all work.

  2. 02

Sign in and attach it again

Create a free Endless account or sign in. Your workspace chat opens with the prompt already written. The file stays on this page, so attach the image again in the chat and send.

  3. 03

    Read, edit and generate

The agent writes the prompt in the chat. Ask it to shorten it, change a detail or write it for a specific model, then ask it to generate a new image from it.

What people use it for

  1. 01

    Repeat a look you like

Get a description of the light, color and framing of a reference image, then use it to make new images with the same look and a different subject.

  2. 02

    Keep a series consistent

Describe one image from a campaign or a set and reuse that prompt for the next ones, so every image shares the same style, palette and camera angle.

  3. 03

Write prompts for a specific model

Ask for the prompt in the form that suits Nano Banana, FLUX or Seedream. The agent adjusts the length and wording for the model you plan to use.

  4. 04

Turn a mood board into briefs

Describe each reference on a board and get a written brief per image that you can share with teammates or use as a starting point for generation.

  5. 05

    Learn prompt vocabulary

See how a model describes lenses, lighting setups, materials and art styles in an image you know, and reuse those terms in your own prompts.

  6. 06

    Rebuild an image with changes

Get the prompt for an image, change the subject, the season or the colors in the text, and generate the new version in the same chat.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is image to prompt free?

You can start free. A free Endless account comes with the Free plan, which gives your workspace 100 credits when you create it and 50 credits every week. Describing an image is a chat turn, which spends a small amount of credits. Generating an image from the prompt afterwards spends more, depending on the image model.

  • Do I need an account?

Yes. This page only writes the request. The image is read and the prompt is written in your workspace chat after you create a free account or sign in.

  • Does it show the original prompt of an AI image?

No. The prompt describes what the model sees in the picture. It cannot read the prompt, seed or settings someone used to make an AI image, so a prompt built from it will give a similar image, not the same one.

  • What does the prompt include?

By default it covers the subject, the composition, the lighting, the style, the camera or lens it suggests, and the colors. Ask for more or less detail, a single line or a structured list, and the agent rewrites it.

  • Can it write the prompt for a specific model?

Yes. Name the model, such as Nano Banana, FLUX or Seedream, and the agent writes the prompt in the form that suits it. You can then ask it to run that model with the prompt in the same chat.

  • Can I use the images I generate from the prompt commercially?

You are responsible for the rights in the images you attach and in what you make from them. A prompt that copies a living artist's style or a brand's look closely can still raise issues, so check the terms of the model you use and avoid reproducing protected work.

  • Are my images private?

Images you attach, the prompts and any images you generate are saved in your workspace, private by default, and you decide who to share them with. Endless does not post or publish your files anywhere.
