Nano Banana 2.1 is an image model by Google. In Endless it costs from 9 credits per image and is available on every plan.
Nano Banana 2.1 is Google's newest Flash image model, with better design, editing and subject consistency than Nano Banana 2, faster, at up to 4K.
Nano Banana 2.1 is built on Gemini 3.6 Flash and replaces Nano Banana 2 as the efficient everyday model in the line. It follows prompts more closely, renders text better and keeps characters consistent across several rounds of edits. It also cleans up the tiling artifacts that extreme formats like 1:8 or 8:1 could show at 2K and 4K. Output is 1K, 2K or 4K.
Teams use it for design-led work that goes through many revisions: a campaign character who has to look the same in every frame, social layouts that need clean typography, and product images edited step by step until they match the brief. Because it is faster than Nano Banana 2, rounds of feedback move quicker. In Endless it runs in chat and on the canvas.
Nano Banana Pro is still the top-fidelity option for the most complex briefs. Nano Banana 2.1 is the better default for most daily generation and editing, and the original Nano Banana remains the budget pick.
