ElevenLabs pricing in 2026: plans, credits and API costs
ElevenLabs' Free, Starter, Creator, Pro, Scale and Business plans in October 2026, how many characters and minutes a credit buys, and what the API charges. Every price links to ElevenLabs' pricing pages.

ElevenLabs sells monthly credits on six self-serve plans, from Free to Business, plus Enterprise on a quote. The same credits pay for text to speech, music, sound effects, voice changing and dubbing. Developers can also pay per character through the API. This guide lists what each plan costs and what a credit buys.
We make Endless, a workspace that runs several ElevenLabs models, so read the last section with that in mind. Every price below comes from ElevenLabs' pricing page or its API pricing page, read on October 30, 2026. If a number here disagrees with those pages, the page wins.

Annual billing charges ten months for a year, which ElevenLabs calls two months free. When we checked, two promotions were running: Starter cost $1 for the first month until November 8, and Creator cost $11 for the first month. Both renew at the prices above.
Free: $0
10,000 credits a month, about 10 minutes of text to speech. Free covers text to speech, speech to text, sound effects, voice design, music and 3 projects in Studio. It has no commercial license, so you can't use the audio commercially, and unused credits don't roll over.
Starter: $6 a month, or $5 billed yearly
30,000 credits a month. Starter adds the commercial license, Instant Voice Cloning, 20 Studio projects, commercial use of music, the Dubbing Studio, and image and video generation. It has 10 custom voice slots.
Creator: $22 a month, or $18.33 billed yearly
121,000 credits a month, about 121 minutes of speech. Creator adds one Professional Voice Clone, 30 voice slots and the option to buy extra credits. The comparison table lists an extra minute of speech at about $0.18 on Creator.
Pro: $99 a month, or $82.50 billed yearly
600,000 credits a month. Pro adds 192 kbps audio and 44.1 kHz PCM output through the API, with 160 voice slots and one Professional Voice Clone.
Scale and Business: from $299 a month
Scale costs $299 a month ($249.17 billed yearly) for 1,800,000 credits, 3 workspace seats, team collaboration and 3 Professional Voice Clones. Business costs $990 a month ($825 billed yearly) for 6,000,000 credits, 10 seats, 10 Professional Voice Clones and low-latency text to speech "as low as 5c/minute". Enterprise adds custom terms, SSO, HIPAA agreements and more seats on a quote.
What a credit buys
All products spend from one monthly pool. The FAQ on the pricing page gives these approximate costs:
| Product | Credits on ElevenLabs |
|---|---|
| Text to speech | 1 per character |
| Speech to text | 330 per minute |
| Music | 900 per minute |
| Sound effects | 200 per generation |
| Voice changer, isolator | 1,000 per minute |
| Dubbing | 2,000 to 10,000 per minute |
One character costs one credit on the highest-quality models. Through the API, the Flash and Turbo models cost between 0.5 and 1 credit per character. The plan table works out to about 1,000 characters per minute of speech.
On paid plans, unused credits roll over for up to two months, so a balance can reach three times the monthly amount. Downgrading or cancelling forfeits them.
ElevenLabs API pricing
The API pricing page lists a price per model, with pay-as-you-go available:

| Text to speech v4 Turbo, v3 Conversational, Flash / Turbo | $0.04 per 1,000 characters |
| Speech to text, Scribe v2 | $0.22 per hour |
| Speech to text, Scribe v2 Realtime | $0.39 per hour |
| Music | $0.15 per minute |
| Sound effects | $0.12 per minute |
| Voice changer, voice isolator | $0.12 per minute |
| Dubbing v1 | $0.33 per minute |
| Dubbing v2 | $2.20 per minute |
The same page shows how many API characters each plan includes. For the v4 model, Starter includes 75,000 and Creator 275,000.
What the same work costs on Endless
Endless is a shared workspace with chat, image, video and audio models from several makers, priced in credits from one balance, and paid per workspace rather than per seat. These numbers come from our pricing page and the live model catalog:
| Endless plan | Monthly price | Annual (per month) | Credits per month | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 per week | 1 |
| Hobby | $23 | $18 | 1,600 | 1 |
| Basic | $49 | $39 | 3,700 | Up to 10 |
| Pro | $99 | $79 | 8,000 | Up to 50 |
Endless runs ElevenLabs' own models, on every plan including Free:
| Model | Credits on Endless |
|---|---|
| ElevenLabs v4 | 48 per 1,000 characters |
| ElevenLabs v4 Turbo | About 6 per 1,000 characters, about 18 with your own voice |
| ElevenLabs v3 | 20 per 1,000 characters, 48 with your own voice |
| ElevenLabs Multilingual v2 | 25 per 1,000 characters, 48 with your own voice |
| MiniMax Speech 2.8 HD | 25 per 1,000 characters |
| ElevenLabs Sound Effects | 2 for a 5-second effect |
| ElevenLabs Music | 93 per minute, counted in whole minutes |
"Your own voice" means a voice you cloned or designed in the workspace. A designed voice also adds a small charge on each run to re-create it. You can use these from the text to speech and voice cloning tools.
Credits aren't the same unit on both sites, so compare the dollars. For speech and music, ElevenLabs is cheaper. Its $22 Creator plan covers about 121 minutes of speech. Endless Hobby, at $23, covers about 33,000 characters of v4 (1,600 ÷ 48), or about 33 minutes. Music shows the same gap: about 134 minutes on Creator (121,000 ÷ 900), about 17 on Hobby. If you mostly make voiceovers or audiobooks, an ElevenLabs plan buys several times more audio.
Two cases favor Endless. Hobby covers about 800 five-second sound effects, Creator about 600. And with the built-in Endless voices, v4 Turbo on Hobby covers about 260,000 characters, where Creator's credits cover 121,000 to 242,000 depending on the model.
ElevenLabs also has things Endless doesn't: Professional Voice Cloning, dubbing, Studio for long projects, voice agents, and up to 2,200 voice slots where an Endless workspace holds 3 cloned voices. What Endless adds is one balance that pays for speech, images, video, lip sync and chat models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and the $49 Basic plan covers up to 10 people, where ElevenLabs' first plan with seats is Scale at $299 for 3. If your team makes audio as one part of its content, one shared plan can cost less than separate subscriptions.
