Endless in other AI apps

Endless runs a remote MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code can read your workspace, add files to it and generate media with your own sign-in.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to Endless to search assets, open projects, read past chats, bring files in and generate media. To use external tools within Endless, see connectors.

The remote MCP server uses the Model Context Protocol to give AI apps access to your workspace with your Endless account.

Server address:

https://mcp.endless.app

You do not need to install or run a local MCP server.

What the assistant can do

Reads are free and change nothing. A few tools add to the workspace, and three kinds of work spend credits; the assistant tells you the price first. Nothing edits or deletes existing content.

Search and read assets

Search the workspace's uploads, generated images and video, documents and transcripts by title or by text inside them, across the workspace or inside one project, chat or canvas, then open one in full, including transcripts. Every media result carries a link to the file and a link to its page in Endless.

Open a project

List the projects you can read, open one by its slug, and search assets inside that project only.

Read past chats

Find a conversation by title or by something said in it, then read its messages in order.

Choose the workspace

Confirm which account the client is signed in as, see the workspaces it belongs to, and switch between them. This changes only your workspace selection.

List canvases

List the canvases you can open and see which assets are on one. Canvases are created and edited in Endless.

Save a public image, video, audio file or PDF from a link as an asset in the workspace, ready to search, read or edit with a generation. This does not use credits.

Upload from your device

In Claude and ChatGPT, the assistant opens an upload box in the chat. Drop an image, video or audio file in it and it lands in the workspace as an asset the assistant can work with. This does not use credits. Clients that show no upload box, like code editors, import from a public link instead.

Turn a public YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X or media link into a transcript in the workspace. Spends credits, priced per minute of audio; a link already transcribed is reused for free.

Generate media

Generate an image, a video clip or spoken audio with the models the workspace has. The assistant quotes the run for free and tells you the price before starting it; in Claude and ChatGPT, a card in the chat follows the run and shows the result. Spends credits.

Look up public social media

Read a public profile, an account's posts, one post with its comments, a search by topic, trends, or an audience on Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn or Reddit. Each lookup spends credits, priced per request, and a failed one is not charged.

Lists return ten results per page with a cursor for the next page. Long transcripts and conversations include a notice when their content is truncated.

What it can't do

It can't see more than you can

Every tool runs the same query the app runs, with the same permission checks and the same asset visibility rules. A private asset belonging to a colleague is invisible here too, including for admins.

It cannot edit or delete content

Edit or delete assets, chats, projects or skills, and create or edit canvases and scheduled tasks, in Endless. The connection adds new things to the workspace but never changes what is already there.

One workspace at a time

The tools use one workspace at a time. Select it through the assistant after signing in.

Automatic selection

If your account belongs to one workspace, the server selects it automatically.

Choose a workspace

If you belong to several workspaces and have not selected one, the server lists them. Tell the assistant which one to use.

Saved selection

Your selection is remembered for 90 days, across clients and sessions. Ask the assistant to switch whenever you move to another workspace's work.

Before you start

An Endless account

Available on all plans. Sign in with your Endless account to access your workspaces.

A client that supports remote MCP

Use an app that supports remote MCP servers and account sign-in.

60 tool calls per minute

The limit applies per account, across all connected clients.

If something goes wrong

Check the connected account

"Ask Endless who I am." The response identifies your account, available workspaces and current selection.

Sign-in does not complete

If the browser window closes without connecting, remove the connector or server and add it again. Check the address has no trailing slash and no path after it.

Missing search results

Confirm the active workspace first, then whether the asset is private to someone else. Both look identical from the client's side.
