Add Endless to Claude with this address, then sign in with your Endless account. Copy it without a trailing slash or path.

## Claude on the web, desktop and phone

Add the connector once in a browser or the desktop app; it is then available in every Claude app on the same account, including mobile.

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Add a custom connector

    In Claude, go to **Customize → Connectors**, press **+**, then **Add custom connector**, and paste the address. Leave **Advanced settings** unchanged.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Sign in with Endless

    Press **Add**, sign in to Endless in the window that opens, and approve the access.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Check it

    Ask Claude: *"Ask Endless who I am."* It answers with your account, your workspaces and the selected one.
  </Step>
</Steps>

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector once for everyone. Each member then presses **Connect** and signs in with their own Endless account.

## Claude Code

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Add the server

    ```bash
    claude mcp add --transport http endless https://mcp.endless.app
    ```

    Add `--scope user` to use it in every project, not only the current one.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Sign in

    Run `/mcp`, choose **endless** and sign in in the browser window that opens (or run `claude mcp login endless`).
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Check it

    `/mcp` shows **endless** as connected, with its tools listed.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Callout type="warn" icon="<TriangleWarning />">
  `--scope project` writes the server into the repository's `.mcp.json`, shared
  with everyone who clones it. It holds only the address; each teammate signs in
  with their own account.
</Callout>

## Example requests

* *"Find the transcript where we talked about the pricing change and quote the part about annual plans."*
* *"Open the acme-rebrand project and search it for anything about the logo."*
* *"Find my Endless chat about the podcast clips and summarize what we decided."*
* *"Open an upload box so I can drop in a photo, then animate it."*
* *"Quote an image of a red bicycle on a white background in Endless, then generate it."*
* In Claude Code: *"Upload ./renders/hero.png to Endless."* (Claude Code has no upload box; it uploads from your disk.)

A chat comes back as its messages in order; tool calls, reasoning and attachments appear as a marker, not their contents. For the full list of tools and costs, see [Endless in other AI apps](/docs/connect).

## When it doesn't work

* **Sign-in does not complete:** remove the connector and add it again, and check the address has no trailing slash or path. If it still fails, sign in to Endless in the same browser and retry.
* **It asks which workspace:** your account has more than one. Name the one you want; it is remembered for 90 days.
* **A file you know exists is missing:** you are in another workspace, or the asset is private to a colleague. See [assets and visibility](/docs/concepts/assets-and-visibility).
* **It won't edit or delete:** the connection only adds. Edit and delete in Endless.
